Being strategic involves making decisions that are characterized by intelligence, prior knowledge, and innovation. Strategic thinkers envision the future and start preparing for it. They also recognize opportunities around them and make the necessary plans to seize them.
Should Christians think strategically?
Yes, Christians should think strategically because they have a divine mandate to fulfill. Many times, Christians neglect self-development and surrender to fate. They see everything happening in their lives as sanctioned by God. However, God expects us to accomplish our purpose on Earth, and this requires a different kind of thinking. We must, nonetheless, admit that the Bible does not explicitly say anything about strategic thinking, yet we see many characters using this concept.
